So I just saw the Dali film Un Chien Andalou, or at least what I could see from a YouTube trailer. Crazy stuff. I have to say that Dali's psycho-critical method is probably the most interesting thing I've read in a while. His 1944 painting Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bumble Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening is particularly appealing. Maybe it's the daring, visual confession of a borderline mentally-disturbed thought process, or maybe it's just the colors.
